I decided to use Glitters picture from earlier this week for my Caturday Art submission. I used lunapic for all of the artwork.

Interrupted Photo Session

While Twin2 was taking pictures of items for me for the Winnie's Wish Auction (Live now!!) Cashmere decided that the backdrop was the perfect spot for her.

 

Cashmere: You should focus on me, I'm much prettier than anything else. I don't see how you can use that measuring stick to measure my cute though..

Another wild play session with Leo. Different toy. This one is only good after nails have been trimmed because they stick easily in the fleece.

Dream Comes True

Way back when I got Leo, over 8 years ago, I had this dream. I dreamed that someday I'd have two gray cats snuggled up together. Those who've been with us since then will remember that we had a senior gray kitty, Star, when we adopted Leo. They did NOT get along.. They moved to sort of tolerating each other, but were never friendly.
The closest they would be to sleeping snuggled up together was to be on opposite sides of a king size bed with two human buffers between them.. (Ok, I'm exaggerating a little.. sometimes they'd be on the same couch too, lol)

Leo and Glitter have come close to snuggling by sharing a pillow next to me, but they, (and I mean Leo mostly) prefer that there's at least my arm or that much space between them.

And then! Last night this happened!

 Glitter: I've never had an issue. I don't care who's there, when I want a place, I just take it. I'm that determined.

Leo: I don't like it.. but hey, it's cold today. What's a chilly mancat to do? When I warm up, I'll give her the slow paw to the head, it's how I hint that she's not wanted here. But I have to sneak it in before mom notices because she takes my paw before I can connect if she sees. Anyway, that's all, nap time now...zzzzzzzzz

(It actually ended better than I could have hoped, no slow paw of doom, Glitter got warm I guess and left before Leo woke up! I'm still beaming!)

A break from what, you may ask?

From getting the new Winnie's Wish Holiday Auction ready to go!!

That's right, a new (and long overdue) auction will be starting up on November 8th and going through December 8th! It will be in our fun Insta-Auction style so you can win your bids within three days of bidding instead of waiting until the whole thing is over!

Baby It's Cold Outside

Seriously, it's getting SO COLD already! Does anyone else remember when we used to have springs and falls in between winters and summers? I sure do miss those seasons..

So does Cashmere, she's looking for some warmth!

Cashmere: Someone make the hots come outta this thing already, will ya?

My niece, Twin2, took this picture since I have none on my computer since the crash. I still have my camera but it's been acting up a bit too.. Guess I'm gonna need to drive the cats crazy with the flashy flash thing soon so I can start posting more regularly.

Vintage Halloween

I didn't want another month to pass without a post from us and as the last day of the month, today, is Halloween, I went through my old posts to find a Halloween kind of picture. What I found was one from way back in 2012! When Star was still with us and before Glitter and Cashmere joined us.

Princess Star and Viking Leo say Happy Halloween!! And pass over the treats, bwahahaha!

The reason I had to go looking for an old picture... is my laptop crashed. Big time. As in the hard drive is non-operable so I can't even get my data off of it. Meaning... I lost all of my pictures, everything. I'm going to try one of those data recovery places and hope for the best even though I know they're expensive. If it was anything but the hard drive, I'd do it myself, always have, but this is out of my scope. Darn it!

That's only part of the reason I haven't been blogging, but I'm really really hoping to get back to it. Gotta take more pictures of the kitties! And this time, save them somewhere else than just the computer before deleting the memory card..
