Merry Little Christmas

Considering that today is Little Christmas, (also known as Epiphany, the day after the 12th day of Christmas), this seems like a good time to share these pictures of the kitties during Christmas preparations. There have been less hostilities, perhaps they were trying to get on Santa's good list.

I saw this going on and thought Leo was pushing his luck, but everything was fine, so I guess I worried for nothing. You can see Star is watching him from the corner of her eye, that's because she uses that wrapping paper box as a bridge to get to that laundry basket. They were stepping distance from each other.

Star: I see you there. Any closer and I may have to put the smacky paw down..

Leo: Oh, hi! I didn't see you there before!
Star: Right, like you're not trying to trap me, thinking I can't get down. Well I can, even if I have to go through you, so there.
Leo: Yikes, don't get your princess bloomers in a bunch, I'm just sitting here!

Leo: Oh hi everyone. Now you can all see how I get blamed for Princess Hissyface's issues!
Star: Uh huh, raise your paws if you think giant ornery butt is the one at fault here!

Over at Winnie's Wish, they are now four kitties over the limit, finally having the last kitty returned from a broken home situation. They are desperate for homes, good homes! So please share them with everyone. I'll be posting at least one poster a day of the ones looking for homes. But you can see them all on the Daily Dose sidebar!

It's so nice to see that they're getting along better. Sometimes, the process is incremental, isn't it?

Small little steps! They are certainly getting closer so that's good news. Who knows, we might see Leo and Star actually sleeping right next to each other before the year ends. :)

Star, I think you would be completely justified in laying the smack paw down. Good self-restraint, though. I'm impressed. - Daffodil

Epiphany is the last day that Mom turns on all the Christmas lights. She and Dad started working on taking down and putting away decorations today. It always makes her sad. She loves the decorations and would leave them up all year, but Dad says they would no longer be special that way.
