New Schedules Stink!

Good news: Greg got a promotion!
Bad news: It comes with really stinky hours..
Good news: Overtime is back!
Bad news: That makes the stinky hours even stinkier..

So after he worked half the night, we went grocery shopping in the middle of the night because... that's the only time he has now.

I'm so messed up on hours, and it's only the first day! So now that it's way past normal bedtime and I'm past tired... I don't have a blog ready and I'm too tired really to care at the moment.. So let me just share a couple of things then I can start snoring! (not that *I* snore! no, not me! Ignore any rumors to the contrary..)

First off, Jeanne of Random Felines took in the Gemstone kittens from Chrystal to get them into a shelter near her! Whew, because Chrystal did NOT have any room! But now those kittens are getting over being sick and the vet bills piled up. So they are having a fundraiser auction! Yay! We donated a few Winnie's Wish toy sets and there's LOTS of other cool stuff! Check it out please!

And speaking of Chrystal, she is still in desperate need of adoptions! Please, help find great homes for the kitties in the cathouse! Lets Clear Chrystal's Cathouse by Christmas!!!
You can see all the wonderful kitties HERE!

Here are a few of the ones looking for a home! Show them to everyone you know! Facebook it, tweet it, please help!

Mommy said to tell you she understands stinky hours wif overtime. 12 hour rotating shifts with frequent 16 hr shifts when 4 hrs. OT is included. NOT fun. She is guessing your daddy is on evening shifts? Getting home at 11 perhaps?

Thanks for the plug for the auction. Also hope those kitties find a home really soon. Those are great pictures. Take care.

We're glad for Greg's promotion, but sorry about the sucky hours. Hopefully everyone will adjust soon enough.

There are great items in the auction, we have a bid on something, have to check if we've been outbid yet!

Yikes. Those stinky hours sound like they REEK! WE hope you all settle into a nice routine sooner rather than later. We're hoping the auction for Jeanne is a HUGE success. Oh, and that lots of Chrystal's cats get adopted, too!

Well, the mom says one good thing about grocery shopping in the middle of the night, there's probably not a lot of peoples in the store.

We are purring that those kitties find their furever homes. We know they are out there!

Hopefully you will adjust quickly to the new hours :) We don't sleep much around here 'cause of Daddyman's wonky hours :(

Those graphics for the adoptable kitties are great-fingers crossed that they find homes soon!

One thing about teachers....the hours are predictable, and the overtime doesn't pay anything, MOL!

Conga-rats on the promotion and I'm sure Leo and Star are being extra-understanding about the busy new schedule....NOT.

We bidded on a couple fings! We hopes we'll win!

Dad and Mom are retired now...but Dad worked like 70 hours a week, including weekends for decades and Mom had her own consulting business for 25 years and can't even recall the number of hours cuz she never stopped working, not even holidays or vacations, AND she traveled a ton around the USA and Asia and Europe...so all that is to say...WE TOTALLY UNDERSTAND STINKY HOURS, THE PROS AND CONS...but retirement is starting to be sweet...look ahead...paw pats, Savannah (and Mom)
