The other was a hit with Cashmere. She's the only one who's been brushed with the zoom groom so far though! I'm hoping that Leo likes it as I've gone through so many different brushes and combs trying to find one he will tolerate!
We're thankful that The Baby is doing better! And we're thankful that Timmy donated cool toys! And we're thankful that all of the kitties played together today!
The toy, a little mousie on a wire/string on a wand, now that was a hit with everyone! Leo was the first to notice me open the package and I started to play with him. But out of no where Star dived into the middle and went basically crazypants (a Katnip Lounge term that I love!) over it!
After Star tired and went to rest, Cashmere thought it looked like a cool toy and then finally, Glitter got in on the act. Through it all, Leo was patient and waited for his turns and seemed to really like playing with the girls! Especially since they didn't hiss at him for playing too close like a certain someone else does..
You're going to have to forgive all the laser eyes.. Our house is too dark to not use a flash and it was night. Didn't get the camera out fast enough to get pictures of Leo playing before Star jumped in, which is a shame because before he started his lazy play he had some great leaps!
Leo: Um, I was kinda playin' with that..
Star: Finders keepers! Bwahahaha!
Leo: Well hurry up with your turn so I can have one again!
Star: YeeHA!
Leo: I got it! Thumbs help, hee hee!
Star: Ok, you got a turn.. let go you giant pawed manic!
Cashmere: (in front, still chewing her snack!) Hey! Cool toy! Can I play?
Glitter: (in back, contemplating toys or snack) Watch out for the hissy one!
Leo: Mine again! Got it!
Star: Let go, my turn again!
Cashmere: Mouse! I'm gonna pounce it!
Star: As soon as I catch my breath, it's my turn again..
Leo: It's in my furs! GAA!
Cashmere: Oh I think I like this thing!
Cashmere: Come on, sis, you're gonna love it!
Glitter: Snack bowls empty, let's see this thing now.

Cashmere: YAAA! Gotcha!
Glitter: Good one, sissy!
Leo: Swing it over here again!
Star: It's play, kill, nap, that means it's nap time. Keep it down you whippersnappers!
Glitter: Locked on to target!
Cashmere: Ready to pounce!
Another all four!
Star: Why can't they play quietly? Or go away?
Leo: Ya know, I think these girls might be kinda fun to play with.. Better than Princess Hissyface anyway!
Glitter: I got this one! Wait for it.. paw at the ready!
Cashmere: Give it a good whap!
And just because they are so cute, here's a close up of how intent the girls are! Wouldn't you just love to kiss those little up turned faces?? Well, I would!

It is lovely to see them playing and settled in together. Leo must think it is his birthday having sisters who play instead of hiss.

Efurrryone seems to be adjusting really well and quickly! Cashmere and Glitter are both truly beautiful cats. We are so happy they have you as a family of their very own now :)

It is especially nice to see Cashmere taking a lead a little rather than always hanging back as she's the shyest.
She's really relaxing well.
What a whole load of floofy fun you now have and so wonderful that they are getting together and playing. Sadly nearly 6yrs on Magic still looks at Red like he is a bug!
I'm looking forward to reading more of their life together.
Oh My Catness we just LOVE those toys. Our Einstein goes so nuts he puts the bitey on it and will not let go. Even if Dad keeps it away and makes him run till his tongue hangs out he will grab it and grrrr. Dad got us another one so we can play while he holds one in his mouth trying to decide if he should go for the new one. MOL
