Note, if you will, damp spots on her back where she was sprucing up for the grand event!
"Oh where oh where has my ol' daddy gone?
Oh where oh where can he be?
With his hair cut short and his ear hair growing long..
Oh where oh where can he be?"
It used to freak me out because I thought she was hearing something out there! But now I know, she's just anticipating her dad's arrival. She's a smart cookie to have figured out the time, no?
(Apologies to Greg for the song, hee hee, couldn't help myself!)

What a clever girl. :)
Oh, I wish I had a daddy to wait for! But a mommy will do, I guess. I wait for her sometimes, too.
Binga always gets excited when my human's boyfriend comes home - she can hear his car coming up the street.
Indeed! We kitties are BRILLIANT! You go Star! I wait for my daddy too. ~Allie
TBT here: A cat-who-came-before used to stay out all night a lot. The neighbor told me once that she would always go up on the front steps and wait about 10 minutes before I'd get home!
That is just so adorable. Love, love, love.
That is precious, Star and I see you are tomorrows CALENDAR GIRL!!!!
What a cute Daddy's Girl!
My husband has a cat who does the Daddy Watch at a window. It's so sweet how they get so attached.
