Red Means Go, Green Means Stop!

As we left yesterday, Leo had spied a new stringy! Or did he?

New Stringy?

This stringy moves!

Stringy keeps coming out of this bag!

Where you goin' New Green Stringy?

Oh no, Stringy is actually going up onto twin 1's lap and being crocheted into an afghan!
Stringy just keeps movin', slidin' out of the bag and runnin' away!

I hear ya callin' me mom, just wait til I figure out the stringy!

Poor Leo, he wasn't allowed to put the bitey on the stringy that is not a stringy. This string COULD be swallowed and could cause him all kinds of problems. So after we got a few cute pictures, he was removed from the situation and the yarn is being kept in that ziplock out of reach so he can't get hold of it. He'll have to be content with his thick, difficult to fray, red stringies.

Speaking of his new red stringy.. The goof jumped off the bed with it draped over his tail and must have been freaked out by it because he ran immediately under the bed! With the Stringy.. which is now trapped under there because we'd have to remove the drawers or something to get it out. Sigh

Guess it's a good thing we have four of them but I didn't think I'd be breaking out another one so soon! I still have hope that he'll drag it out of there sometime soon. He does like to walk around with them after all..

In this instance, red means go, green means stop! Stringy color-wise anyway.

Leo and his strings! I think you'll be needing more of those red ones sooner than later.

You've got to watch out for stringies cos they sometimes have a mind of their own.

Oh, those strings can be fun! Angel Chumley was a real string guy and the mom says it was hard to knit with him around. :-)

We, on the other hand, look at her yarn but really don't do anything with it.

Thanks for coming by to wish Nicki a happy gotcha day!

Yarn is the absolute BEST kind of string. I love to slobber all over it, secretly, and then wait for the peep to go all EWWWW when she gets to the part I've... 'treated'.

Oh I love stringies, and they always tie and twist themselves around my tail! This happens when we are running together and leaping and there it goes..around my poor tail! Scares me.

My mother can knit like the wind. Knits up complicated patterns on sweaters with out looking. I knit like sludge, and it is probably because I'm always forced to stop and protect the yarn from a cat.. :)

It sounds like both red & green mean go!

Sheesh! Stoopy Humans! Why does they have all this stuff around that is so much fun for the kitty and then they snatch it away without so much as a by-your-leave. What is WRONG wif them, Leo? YOU know where that red stringy is, don't you? Well, I say leave it right where it is so you will always have an emergency stringy available.

I'm glad Star liked my Manly Movie. ::blush::

Strings are wunnerful ta play with! There are some on the bookcase. Too high from the floor an too far below the top ta get at. We're still werkin on it though.
