Oh boy oh boy!! Lots of new things went on the Winnie's Wish Holiday Auction last night! I got several self-heating nap mats done and put them on and some new kick fish! Not to mention there's lots of crochet beds and other items ready for bids!

Something is up with the auction site and some of the items are not showing up as you scroll and change pages, but everything has a link on the Bid Summary and if the link is there, the item is there and taking bids! So if you dont see it, check the summary and click there!
I'm trying to figure out why it's doing that, but so far, haven't been able to effect it.. I'll keep working!

 Leo: You crazy momma, I got nothin' on my chin.

No, really, I think there's something there! Look this way please.

Sweetie, look at me, I promise I do see something.

Leo: Ok, what? What's on my chin?

You're getting a beard! Is it... is it more silver than the rest of you??

Leo: Are you implying that I'm going gray?! I AM gray! But yes, I do have a beard now, I'm a grown up mancat, I can grow one if I wanna! 

It's true! He's got a tiny little beard that's longer than the rest of his face fur, and it's adorable! And hard to get a picture of (especially with the crappy phone camera). I swear it's lighter, more silvery, but that might just be a trick of the light. I'm gonna be keeping an eye on it until I know for sure though!

(Before it got all completely worn through and now only sits upstairs to keep a ham-mick up off the floor!)

Thankful Thursday and Auction Update

Cashmere: I'm thankful for this self-heating nap mat! And for this chair which is a great spot to show off my fluffy tummy furs!

I'm also seriously thankful for everyone who's helped and is helping to make the Winnie's Wish Auction a success!

You all won't believe what I found! I have been pining for my serger sewing machine so I can make some of those self-heating nap mats and maybe a few puffy beds in time to put them in the auction. So I was looking around for the material for those, you know, to be ready just in case the repair guy gets done with it in time, and I found a whole bag of almost finished crocheted beds and cat nip fish kick toys! So I spent all day yesterday finishing them up and will be able to put them up on the auction by tomorrow night hopefully, knock on wood! But that doesn't give much time to bid on those newer items.
So I'm going to go ahead and extend the auction one more week!
I've been saying I would if I get to make the cloth ones anyway, so I'll just call it now and stop dithering. Perhaps I can make some nap mats without the fancy colorful edge.. I'll see what I can work out. Tis the time of year for those!

 Glitter: Hope.. hope.. hopeity hope! Oh how I hope!!

 Glitter: Leo told me this was momma's new hope chest, so I'm using it to hope them birdies come up to and through this window so I can get at 'em! I'll play nice with them. ..With my teeth! hee hee!

Glitter: Not you, neighbor kitty! Go home please, you're making the birdies stay away! I don't like you too much anyway.. Wish your people would keep you inside so I didn't have to hiss at you through the window. Now, bring me a birdie!
