Piper's Mommy

Piper's mommy, my mom, has been in the hospital all week. She's being kept sedated because she's on a vent. She has horrible pneumonia and something going on with or near her gallbladder. Obviously we have been very worried and at the hospital and out of touch on line for the most part.
They are going to start trying to wean her off of the vent tomorrow. But if it takes more than three days, they are going to talk tracheotomy.
We are worried, we are scared. We love our mommy, Piper, my sister and me.
I guess I'm saying, this is why I'm not posting. But I think you all understand that.

Piper is being taken care of and may move in with my sister for a while because it's likely mom will go to a step down facility to regain strength before going home. My sister is the only house with no other cats. She has a blind old Yorkie, but Nala won't 'see' the Piper and Piper will be able to easily avoid Nala. Send prayers for this situation too please!

Piper: I don't like missing my mommy. But will someone please tell me what a 'Yorkie' is and why it makes me nervous? Ok, so everything makes me nervous, I still want to know if a 'Yorkie' is a person from New York, or something to eat, or a fluff comforter to lay on!
