It's no fun being without my favorite lap! Hurry home daddy!
Star and Leo have been pretty good. In some ways it's been nice sleeping with both of my kitties. In another way, it's been pretty warm! They're staying as far from each other as they can, meaning Leo on my feet, heating those up, and Star practically under my chin, blocking any fan air from getting to my face! I've been breathing so much cat fur that I'm about to toss my own hairball!
I've also caught them almost playing together! Star gets in the open window and will use the screen to sharpen her claws. This draws Leo's attention and he comes up over the chair to peek at her. She jumps out and chases him! No hissing, no growling! And then he'll chase her back a few paces then they break and run their separate ways!
I CANNOT forget to tell you about Star and a special visitor! Star hates company, HATES it. Strangers make her run! Leo too. He might stick around long enough to see who it is, but then he runs off and hides. My dear cousin P came over. She has recently become a cat person after being a doggie person forever! She came to pick up a set of Winnie's Wish toys for her new kitty, Lucky!
Star was in the window behind the chair P was sitting in. This flipped her out so she ran out. Then decided that was the safest spot and ran back in. As we sat talking, Star crept out of the window and sat on the table next to P. I was sure as soon as she reached over to pet her, Star would bolt!
Instead, she leaned into her hand and begged for more pets! She was making a spectacle of herself! Rolling her head, leaning in, rubbing on her hand when she didn't pet fast enough! She did everything but roll over and beg for tummy rubs! Cousin P is one of few people Star has made friends with, how cool is that?!
And Leo? He made an entrance too! He ran back and forth through the room, mostly as exactly far away from the company as possible, but he was out! P picked up his red stringy and tried to tease him into coming closer. He gave it a few whaps, but kept out of reach the whole time, little brat boy! But at least Star gave her a stamp of approval!
Leo: Yeah, I know Star seemed to like the peoples, but I have to be more cautious just in case Princess Hissyface is trying to draw me into a false sense of security, then WHAM! Some stranger picks me up! *shudder*
Star: Go ahead and say I'm getting soft in my old age, whatever. She was a good petter. That's all that really matters, right?
Continued purrs for my, and Moosey's, dad are appreciated!
And so are donations for Winnie's Wish! They are full up on kitties and every penny helps! Every donation gets you a set of toys in our Summer FUNdraiser so please consider joining in!
PS. We'll try to get around to visit again soon! Please be patient with us!

So happy to hear the good news! Sir Moose-a-lot will have good lap times soon, we hope!
Star, I am SOOOOOOOO impressed! I have NEVER allowed an introodur--even introodurs I sort of like--to TOUCH me. ::shudder:: nonononononononononononono!!! Look at me, okay. Talk to me? Maybe, if I have given you the Spitty Seal of Approval. Touch me?? Not if you value your fingers!
I'll be over later to wrap my manly ebony furry arms about you, darling--and you can give your mommy a break from inhaling your furz.
I think Star just knew a good petter when she saw one! I'm glad to hear your dad's blockage is gone!
That is really good news! We are glad things seem to be going well over there :)
Purrs,
Carmine, Milita, and Jewel
We're glad you have good news about your Dad. Star is getting very brave having scritches from your cousin.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
So good that your dad is on the mend. I'm also very impressed with Star and Leo being big and brave. Well done, you two.

Star, we're really impressed that you made friends with another human. We don't make friends with strangers that easily. :)
And we're purring for Mooseys' dad and hope he continues to improve!
I have been missing so much, I didn't know about your Dad. I am sending him purrs!
Excellent news about your dad. Everyone there must be so pleased.
Maybe the good news has influenced Star. It's taken a while, but maybe she's realising that there's an advantage or two to having a feline roommate.
Wow Star, are you getting soft or what? We think you are right that petting is good wherever you can find it, but we are still suspicious of strangers and their intentions. Good for you for being brave. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Great news xx huge hugs to your dad :-)
Way to go Star! We are very happy to hear the good news about Moosey's Dad and we are all still sending healing purrs!
Glad to hear another good news. I hope they'll keep comin'
We are so happy for your Dad!! My Mom used to go to a chiro that would press her "poop nerve" (his term) and sure enough, she'd have to...well...you know.
We have some company irresistible to kitties, too--our neighbor Gisela draws 'em out in DROVES.
The healing purrz will continue. I shocked though that his first thought wasn't to come home so Sir Moose-a-lot gets his lap back. Humans don't need to do that other suff except when it comes to walking to the kitchen to open our fuds.
Wow, such improvement on all fronts with those two!
Yippee for making new friends! Star, we're so proud of you! Purrs...
That is some great news about your Dad. And Star -- Holy Cat! We are IMPRESSED by how brave you are getting! :)
Mom Andrea - Our new kitties Zoe and Gracie LOVE the nip butterfly you made. Especially Zoe -- we will try to get a video of her pouncing on it and playing.
Hugs!

Hope Dad is continuing to improve.
Star, Darling, I have instructed my Human to give you all the brushies you could wish for when you come over. You can even use my special pinkie brush. Why don't you bring your butterfly blankie?
hey hey hey Miss Andrea and Star and Leo...you have nothing to apologize about; heck...I have been so far behind in my visits I am surprised anyone at all every comes to my bloggy...life is life...you just all keep living it *wink, wind*...and Star, nothing to be humble about or embarrassed...I am getting closer and closer to my peeps and to visitors as well...finally says Dad after almost 20 months...heh...heh
