Beddy Bye

Leo is normally a very spread out sleeper. On his back for the most part, rolling from side to side, twisting and generally being a very silly sleeper. Which is why I have so many tummy shots of him laying on his back.

That's why when I saw this the other day I was kinda surprised:

It's a big ol' ball of Leo! Still has his toys nice and close though. I have no idea where his head is..

Niece 2, not the live in, but her twin, was over looking for a missing calendar the other day. This, of course, freaked out the cats and they took off. I mentioned off hand that Leo and Star were probably hiding under beds or in closets. She said, no they aren't, they're on my bed. Together!

This may not seem odd to you readers, because every time it happens and we get a picture, I post it. But seriously, it's rare for them to be that close and not fighting! Not like they're cuddling or anything, but it's something!
That's Leo in the back and Star in the front by the way. She's got her back to him, but he can't take his eyes off her.

We kitties here usually don't argue, but we don't often get too close to each other either.

close is just a matter of opinion!! Maestro sleeps curled up like that, but most everyone else is a sprawler!!

I love the way Leo always sleeps with his toys nearby - just in case the urge to play comes upon him in the middle of sleeping.

They look like Nicky and Autumn. the peeps only have a couple of pics of them together on the same bed. One of them always looks uneasy. Maybe when nobody is home to watch them, they do get along. Can't say the same for Autumn & Nicky because they were usually kept in separate rooms.

aaaww.. ball of Leo.. I love it.

I used to have two cats that would never be near each other, but as they got older they would tolerate each other's presence.. I can totally relate to how that fells..

It DID take us a while to see Leo's head! And WE (Ayla and Iza) curl up with large fluffy toys at night sometimes. Marley doesnt (unless he thinks of Ayla as a large fluffy toy). Or she, him. Im not sure.

Sometimes it takes a long while for kitties to tolerate each other. Oui Oui and Mica Moo took about 4 weeks. Julie and Mica Moo still can't stand the sight of each other & it will be 2 years in July. Mica doesn't like Carl either, she still hisses every time she sees him, although he has never been aggressive towards her.

Leo ball with toys - sounds like a painting. He's sure keeping his laser eyes on Star who is just fine, thank you.
