I know we just used this picture for Memorial Day, but it works today to!

 

Mancat Monday

Leo: So while we was havin' all that sunshine, momma said she thought what would go better with it would be to have one of our ham-mocks sittin' in it! Daddy agreed and put it there! I was the first kitty to jump in and take advantage!

 

 

Leo: Thanks daddy. But, um.. the sun moved a little. Maybe you should move the ham-mock with it. You know, like a kitty sundial? hee hee You know you want to.

By the way, I tried to do the whole batcat shadow thing.. didn't come out as well as sweet Katie's did.. Think she'll get the 'signal' anyway and pop over?? *grin!*

Keep On Sunshining

All that vacation sunshine, and even more pictures to show it off!
I hope you'll indulge us, because we loves the suns!

Also, ignore the carpet debris. We do vacuum, honest, but we have cardboard chewers and scratchers. They toss around cardboard bits like it's a ticker tape parade.. Then they scoop it up in their long furry tails and, I swear on purpose, swish it everywhere they go until there's almost a solid layer!

Glitter: I don't need the door to roll in the sunshine. I can soak it up and stay on the cushy carpet.

 

 

Cashmere: I get the sunshine first by sitting in the door. Leaning on this door springy thingie isn't uncomfortable, it's just the right height for me.

 

 

Leo: I like the sun everywhere! Can I share with you?

Cashmere: As long as I don't have to move, you can go anywhere you want!

 

 

Leo: Awesome! Because I think I see something out there worth lookin' at..

Cashmere: Oo! I think you might be right!

 

 

Leo: Bird!

Cashmere: Squirrel!

Leo: Bunny!

Cashmere: Big bug!

Leo: Don't say 'bug' too loud, mom'll freak!

Cashmere: Giant bug!

Leo: Silly girl, that's another bird!

 

Glitter: See, I don't care for the distractions. All I want is plain ol' sunshine 'cause that's how I roll!

 

 

Leo: She's got a point.. But I still.. Strange Cat!

Cashmere: Not as strange as you, hee hee!

Glitter: Hey, I can see some birds from here!

Leo: I knew she'd be lured by the wildlife sooner or later! Strange cat alert over, he left.

More Vacation Sunshine

A continuation of where we left off last time:

Leo: (farthest) Glitter, I'm surprised. You really think I'd block your sunshine?

Glitter: (middle) Yes, in fact, I think my head is in your shade right now..

Cashmere: (nearest) Oh boy.. I'm not getting involved here..

 

 

Leo: Well sheesh, I was just trying to have a conversation about all the sun shine and sun puddles!

Glitter: Ok, lets talk about it, but let me have some while we do!

Cashmere: Yup, totally staying outta this..

 

 

Leo: Well fine, maybe I'll just go on the OTHER side of the door then..

Glitter: Ah, there we go, full sun on my head! Thank you, big brother!

Cashmere: Does that mean it's my turn?

 

 

Leo: Aw skip it, I'm gonna find a cushier place to nap.

Cashmere: Oh boy, the door is all mine now!

Glitter: Um... Cashmere, your tail is blocking my sunshine... *sigh*

Vacation and Sunshine

Leo here: Yes, it's true. Our Pawrents are on vacation. Or whatever mom is calling a staycation.. But to us kitties, that just means an extra nap-lap, extra petter, and a some extra treats.

And the nice weather has meant open doors and windows all day and all night! The sun shine is calling me away again, so I'ma cut this short.. We should be back to more posts and better visiting and commenting next week. Until then, hope you have as much fun in the sun puddles that we are!

Leo: (far back) Can you believe this huge sun puddle?

Glitter: (middle-ish, laying) I believe you're about half a step from blocking my part of the sun puddle..

Cashmere: (closest) I think we're gonna need a bigger door!
