Still Chilly

Greg thinks it's silly of my to be chilly and leave Star to have the butterfly blanket. I guess when she's that cute, and loves it so much, I just can't disturb her. Am I the only crazy person like this out there?

Boxing Star

I had wanted to enter Otis' Boxing day event, but since we were sick over Christmas, I never got around to sending him out entry. But I did get some pictures of Star in a box, and I'm finally getting around to posting them!

Oh yeah, I'm sitting in my box, washing my socks. Ok, my socks are as gray as my body, but I can call them anything I want, so there.

 

As far as boxes go, it's only ok. *thhrrppp* Kinda short, but any box is better than no box.

Nobody else better be looking at my box! I am not afraid to claw!

 

Am I checking out every inch of the box or am I cleaning my fluffy tail? Can you tell?

 

You can cut the camera now, I'm about to take a long nap in my box. Don't get any ideas about moving it off the Royal Footstool either, THIS is where I want to sleep!

Did ya notice? Tongue out twice! That's unusual for my girl!

Nippy Ears

Does anyone else's kitty do this? When Star plays with catnip toys, she hugs the toy and cleans her face and ears! It's so funny! But she does it every single time. Is my cat the lone goofball who does this?

Oh nippy pillow.. I love you!

Book Hog

Update on the blogger issues. I looked and yes, blogger says it's an IE/Blogger issue, and they're 'working' on it.. I shall not be holding my breath. I did try another server but it didn't work either. I'm not really interested in loading chrome or firefox, so I guess I'll wait and see what happens.

 

I took the advice to use HTML and it works! It also told me that I've only used 4% of my storage, so that's not an issue! I can load the pictures in HTML mode then switch back to compose and see what I'm doing, so cool!

 

 

We were sick over Christmas, well, mostly I was sick but then Greg got sick afterward.. it was so fun.. Anyway, so we finally got together with our families and I received some cool books! I was looking at them on the Royal Footstool and Leo got extremely nosey! He refused to get out of the way!

Fast Star and Mini Tutorial

Blogger is still being a booger... Still no upload photo's button, completely missing!
I've been asked, so let me say how I'm putting up new pictures without the photo button.
I got a free account on photobucket. I edit my pictures with another free program called gimp. I use it to resize, and crop. There are lots of tutorials out there for it, but if anyone wants help, send me an email at anniclan AT aol DOT com and I'll do what I can.

Ok, so now I have the picture I want to upload, and I go to photobucket and upload it. Then I click on my library there, hover over the picture I want, when the little star thingie shows up in the top left corner, I hover over it and choose get media links. I click 'direct link' and it automatically copies to my clipboard. Then I come back to blogger, click the picture thing and on the right side, I click 'from an URL. In the box that pops up, I right click and paste. The picture shows up and I click to insert it.

The biggest pain is that you have to do one picture at a time. You can't insert a bunch at once like with the regular upload photo button.

So it's a bit of a pain, but it's working. But blogger better fix itself soon!



On to the kitties!

Ok, just Star. And yes, this is a sequence, even though it's all over the place. That's how fast Star is when she's playing, she's in one spot, then tears off to another, then another and bam, she's done! You can't get any in between shots because she's just too stinking fast!

Ha! Got it! Sneak attack from under the Royal Footstool!

 

Thought you could escape to daddy's chair? I don't think so!

 

Yeah, I'm done. There's some real birds out here that need to be watched.
