Leo especially loves it when the door is open and he does not hesitate to get right in it. Star likes to door too, but she prefers to sit back a ways. Unless the evil squirrel walks by, which he does. Everyday. On purpose. Bold as brass.
Seriously, within five minutes of the door opening, this squirrel scampers up within a foot of the door, stands on his back feet and looks in as if to say, "neener neener, you can't get me!" Usually one or the other of the kitties will dive on the door after him at which point he will scamper away, you can almost hear the snickering..
Usually if Leo is in the door, Star won't go over. And if Star is in or near the door, Leo will choose the window. But occasionally this will happen:
Leo: I know that ebil squirrel is out there somewhere...
Star: Keep watching, he'll show up..
Leo: Ooo there's a bird!
Star: Good focus, goomba..
It's funny that because of the perspective Star looks almost the same size as Leo when, in fact, she's half his size.

You are lucky having a squirrel to watch as well as birds.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I think there is a squirrel around here that takes delight in annoying Binga. I like that squirrel.
Before you know it, they're going to be sitting next to each other like buddies. (Right, Star? Right, Leo?)
cozyyyy xxx
The draw of the open window or door allows the hissing to stop in our house too. While the boys haven't convinced Mistletoe to trust them they are united in the desire to chase those fluffy tails or fluttering wings. Who would have thought, an open window can allow peace among the furry.
Having an open door makes everybuddy furiends. :)
They're getting closer to each other... And I think you're right about the squirrel; he's taunting the cats.
yep - there is equality to be found in open windows and doors :)
Este é um bom lugar para observar, vocês precisam de um bom plano de ataque para pegar esse esquilo irritante!
Some very good whiffs and great views!
Wow! Nice CatTV!
