Star had a favorite napping spot for years and years, but since a little while after Leo arrived, she hasn't been sleeping there at all. It was the first place Leo kind of stole from her. It is kind of one of the only high places in the living room, so it was understandable for each of them to want this area.
It's the back of the couch. And before you point out that I keep sharing pictures of Star on the back of the couch, it's on the opposite side of where she'd slept for years. She avoided that spot since Leo took it over. But the funny thing is, Leo only slept there for a few months and then gave it up entirely! Still, Star acted like it was a toxic waste dump and avoided even crossing the couch by way of it..
Then today, I glance behind (and to the side) me and see her all curled up, happy as can be! She sat up and gave me a look the second she saw me looking at her though. It was pretty close to snack time.. Note the hopeful look:
Treat time? Snacks? Stinky goodness? Chicken perhaps? Mmmm chicken..
It's so nice to see my baby girl back on her perch!
Leo doesn't mind, he has the Royal Footstool almost all to himself lately!
zzzzz best spot zzzzz
