Sir Moose-a-lot and I would like to thank all of you for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers on the loss of our daddy. We are deeply sad as I'm sure you can imagine. But good friends and encouraging words do make a difference, so thank you again.
We're going to try to get back to reading and commenting soon, and posting, but we'll probably be intermittent for a while. I know you all will understand.
I didn't want to let blog for peace to pass without mentioning it, so I'm using last years badges.

So sorry for the loss of your daddy, we know you must all miss him lots.

ReplyDeleteIf tears could build:
If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before I knew it, and only god knows why.
My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it means to lose you no one will ever know.
But now I know you want me, to grieve for you no more; to remember all the happy times, life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today: a hollowed place within my heart is where you'll ALWAYS stay.

I'm very sorry that you have to go through this. I'm more sorry in a way for Sir Moose-a-lot. You'll understand, I think, when I say it's because a pet doesn't know where his best friend went. It can't be explained to them. For all members of your family, I wish for ease and contentment.
ReplyDeleteWe is happy that yous posted! For today, me is quoting Jimi Hendrix - When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Hi Darling Star, Missing you something terrible, though understand your Mommy has many other priorities so I will be patient. Love you! XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteDarling, You KNOW I will be happy to come over and provide some lickity-lick-licks.
ReplyDeleteThe Human understands how your Mommy is feeling. Even though she losted her own Mom and Dad a lot of years ago now, she a-members very well how sad she was. It's not something that gets better right away, either. It takes a long time before the Humans feel right again, and even then, it's bumpy with a lot of ups and downs. Purring helps them, though, so you and the Barbarian have an impawtant role to play. XOXOXO
Thank you for coming by.
ReplyDelete(((((HUGS))))
Star, I'll be there later. Send that Barbarian to bed early and you and I can share the top level of the cat tree. I could use an ear-washin'.
