Oh yeah, I remember noticing this shelf when I was up here before.
I don't know if I want to try it though. Let me sit and think for a moment..

I don't always sit on the top shelf, but when I do, I glare at the camera.
I can't believe I used to be stuck down there.. Sheesh
Yay, Leo made it to the top! I give him another day to discover the top of the cabinet.
Star still has not made it to the top shelf. She doesn't seem interested at all. She knows it's there, just doesn't want to bother with it since she can see everything she wants to from the middle shelf. (I know you can't see it, but there is a lower shelf, it's just lower than the edge of the bed.)
If this keeps up, Leo may start thinking he is Top Cat! I wonder what Star will have to say about that.

It's interesting that the tree is fixed in place at top and bottom. I guess that eliminates the need for a wide, strong base that takes up room. I'm sure Star will climb higher eventually - they always do!

ReplyDeleteAww! If Star doesn't want to go on it or to the top,it's probably because she is older.Didn't you say she is 14? Well older cats tend to not climb much.Or she just might be one of those cats who don't like to climb much.
ReplyDeletemy Ragdolls (Nico&Anya ) have a kitty condo,and Nico will some times climb to the top.While Anya gets on the kitty condo she rarely gets to the top.I think male cats like to climb more than females.
But who knows maybe she will climb to the top?
