Only the shadow knows... bwahahaha!
Oh, then maybe I better spruce up..
Where'd you go Bright Sun? Rats, now they can see that it's me, Star. The one with the correct number of toes and the pretty curly belly furs!
I happen to like this shelf, it gives me just enough height to see where that barbarian is and what he's up to. And I know he's totally jealous when I take it over for the better part of the day. hee hee
There you are again Bright Sun! Now I can perfect my vulture look so I can stare at mom and contemplate how to get more treats out of her..
On a side note, will someone tell me why cat tree makers don't cover the underside of tall shelves? I mean, unless you're over 9 feet tall, you're gonna see the bare wood! Ok, this is a cheap one from Walmart, but still. And I've seen the same thing on more expensive ones. The kitties do love it though, so we might get another because they both want it all the time.
We kitties have to look at the bare undersides of those platforms too, so we don't like it any more than you do!
ReplyDeleteI have the same question. I completely forgot about it then i saw your photos then you asked exactly the same question i have. I still wonder why.
ReplyDeleteWe liked the way the bright sun fooled the camera. We need to try that more.
ReplyDeleteI don´t have to look at bare shelves on my BIG cattree , but I do it on my small one :)
ReplyDeleteWe guess the cat tree makers are really tall so they never see underneath the shelves!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet - and it's great to hear that the kitty tree is enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteMum has just looked at our cat trees and their bottoms are naked too!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I think the cat-tree makers do it just to save money. Even the expensive ones do it. I have a custom-made one and it's the same way. But, as you can attest, if it works, it works. I'm glad both Star and Leo like theirs.
ReplyDeleteWe see better in the dark ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe knew it was you Star on account you are sooo much more tiny than Leo!! :)
ReplyDeletethe critters in the cottage xo
"only the shadow knows" MOL!!
ReplyDeleteYou are right about the wood...I have an expensive cat tower that I got for reviewing it and the wood shows on that too. But...it is smooth wood
star...you better ask your mom to get a name plate or something and super glue it to YOUR shelf because you know the minute leo hears of this, he will claim it as HIS.....hhhmmmppphhh
ReplyDeletehugs girl from dai$y =^..^=
I really like that tree but don't like Walmart. The only trees that cover the bottom are the carpeted ones and I don't know why. Maybe they don't realized peeps take fotos. BTW, I'll confess. I thought it was Leo.
ReplyDeleteYou are looking might floofilicious there Star! Glad you enjoyed the top shelf!
ReplyDeleteI like the vulture look. Very mysterious.
ReplyDeleteWe purchased a tall cat tree over 10 years ago that was carpeted on the underside of the perches. We found another about 4 years ago. Both were ordered online and were a little more expensive than what you can find in local stores. Thankfully our cats have always been gentle on their trees and both tress still look good.
Hello my sweet darling girl! How I have missed you! The Human has been drowning in a whole bunch of ridiculous work problems and not keeping up with MY needs which really should come before everything else! Right?
ReplyDeleteThose curly tum furs make me all weak in the knees (wait--do I HAVE knees? I forget.) XOXOXOXO
So you got it at Wal-Mart :) I say if you can afford another, go ahead and get one. The kitties deserve spoiling!
ReplyDeleteStar..you are too funny! Love that curly fur on your belly! =^..^=
ReplyDeleteStar you are gorgeous and it looks like you are loving your new cat tree.
ReplyDeleteLooking good, Star! And we like your new cat tree, too!
ReplyDeleteWe had the same exact question about cat trees' undersides...
Thank you for reminding me about where my knees *are*--they still tingle a bit from where they were tickled.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures of you in the shadows are soooooo enchanting--Star, 008 International LadyCat of Mystery
In profile, Star, you quite resemble our Giulietta, but in a very diminutive way. No thoughts of somehow sharing the tree? You would not have to look at or acknowledge each other. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteMom always wonders about that...it looks crappy in photos too! MOL! And Star, your tummy furrs are just lovely, paw pats, Savannah
