This red guy for one.
Oh hello Mr. Red. Why don't you come closer?
Hey, I said closer, where are you going?
I can follow you, you know, Mr. Red..
I can still see you! Oh, uh, don't mind the drool, it just means that I like you. Now hop up here and join me for dinner...
We hope you only have wonderful visits this weekend!
We had one of those in the tree behind our fence yesterday evening. First time our human's ever seen one in that tree (and managed to get pics too).
ReplyDeleteVery tasty looking! Hope he comes back to visit you...and that ours comes back to visit us!
We hope you didn't have to wait too long for dinner Leo.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
He is teasing you! I wonder why he doesn't take up your offer of joining him for dinner.
ReplyDeleteLeo, that Mr. Red is hard to keep track of. Glad you have him back in your sights. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWe hope he did join you for dinner. Yum.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Did mr. red join you for dinner? I hope he did.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a cardinal 'in person'. I always think they make a nice compliment to bluejays. I hope yours tantalizes you more in the future.
ReplyDeleteLeo we have a family of cardinal who fly around our catio all the time, know just how you feel!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I have visitors like that too and I have said much the same to them. I have no idea why they don't answer, Leo!
ReplyDeleteOoh, Ooh, we see those at the bird stuffing place! We want those red fevvers to play with.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely coloured bird. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteLeo, I am afraid that birdie does not want to be your friend!
ReplyDeleteMiss Kitty has been watching her red bird tv all week...I think she has some kind of spell on him because he tries to get to her! Oh Boy...
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Mum & Kitty
I can't imagine why he didn't take you up on your offer to join you for dinner. How rude of the cardinal!
ReplyDeleteMOL! I'm sure you are too well fed to want to eat Mr. Red for dinner!
ReplyDeleteCharlie
Ooh, we get lots of those guys. We love them as they really show up on the grass, in the trees and on the feeder, not like some of the brown birds that just blend into the leaves. Couldn't you just watch him forever, Leo? No eating allowed! Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteWe have cardinals but thankfully our birder has never caught one. Happy Caturday from our mancats Merlin, Gris Gris, Domino and Odin plus mom Layla.
ReplyDeleteSuch a tease! Thank you for helping us make Yoko's special day fun!
ReplyDeleteYou know, even though he only has a tiny little bird brain, I think he's smart enough not to take you up on your offer, Pal.
ReplyDeleteHello beauteous Star, Thank you again for coming to visit and leave me messages in my embarrassing afflictions. I am waaaaaaaaaay better now and will be lots more fun the next time you come over XOXOXOXO
