Cardinal Rules

With the warmer weather the door and windows have been open a lot. And of course there have been visitors. Leo loves visitors.

This red guy for one.

Oh hello Mr. Red. Why don't you come closer?

Hey, I said closer, where are you going?

I can follow you, you know, Mr. Red..

I can still see you! Oh, uh, don't mind the drool, it just means that I like you. Now hop up here and join me for dinner...

We hope you only have wonderful visits this weekend!

  1. We had one of those in the tree behind our fence yesterday evening. First time our human's ever seen one in that tree (and managed to get pics too).

Very tasty looking! Hope he comes back to visit you...and that ours comes back to visit us!

  7. I've never seen a cardinal 'in person'. I always think they make a nice compliment to bluejays. I hope yours tantalizes you more in the future.

  19. Ooh, we get lots of those guys. We love them as they really show up on the grass, in the trees and on the feeder, not like some of the brown birds that just blend into the leaves. Couldn't you just watch him forever, Leo? No eating allowed! Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
