Nippy Ears

Does anyone else's kitty do this? When Star plays with catnip toys, she hugs the toy and cleans her face and ears! It's so funny! But she does it every single time. Is my cat the lone goofball who does this?

    I wipe my face with my catnip toys...there's probably some licking going on too. Then there's hissing...when Waffles Too tries to steal it.

    Some of mine do that once in a while. It may have to do with getting the catnip smell over their faces - or off their faces. But whatever the cause, some of mine do that, yes.

    Emma does it some times, but not all the times. I think it's cute. Buster doesn't care for the nip at all.

    I do that! As soon as I play with nippy toys I have to wash at the same time. Then I start chewing on my back foot. It is always the same foot, never the others.

    When I decide to play with nip toys, I can be seen doing that, as could the cats before me. Star is perfectly normal.

    Star darling, I rub all my toys (not just the nippy ones) ALL OVER MY FACE over and over again. I do not usually include the earsies, but suddenly it seems like a purrfeckly good idea. I think I might start adding an ear flourish at the end.

    I make sure I rub my catnip toys all over me. That way when I can't find one, I have eau de nip already on my furs!
