And! There was no fighting over the door, by the door, or at any time! I think they were just so happy to be looking out and getting all those whiffs that they kind of forgot to not like each other!
Not that they sat IN the door at the same time. But they took turns very well. Star likes to sit back from the door even when Leo's not around, it's just her way. Leo likes to be in the door, but he has to keep an eye on where Star is, so he was in and out a lot.
Round about evening I realized that I had been watching them be so good and I hadn't taken one. single. picture. Seriously! Bad mom! So I took a few late and the light is awful.
I tried to get their attention, just enough to get them to turn around so I could get their faces. It worked. They turned around. But Star immediately photobombed..
You called?
Guess she was disgusted by the flash in the face.. She left and I got this one of Leo.
What?? I'm busy watchin' stuff!
That boy stayed in the door for HOURS while Star napped.
Oo did you see that! What was it? Oo, there's something else!
We hope you all have some good weather and window whiffies this week!
Hope you have a lovely weather today.
ReplyDeleteThere must have been lots of interesting smells out there!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you honestly, we kitties here kind of like our smacky paw altercations! I wonder if Leo and Star have mutually agreed to their testy relationship?
ReplyDeleteAwesome photobomb, Star!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you get more door whiffies again very soon.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
It's astonishing what they can find of interest by looking out a window. Leo knows what to do to keep from being bored.
ReplyDeleteGlad they found an activity to share in.
ReplyDeletefinally warm here too but rainy. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good picture of Leo. Looks like he is having such a good time watching the outside activities. Take care.
ReplyDeletePhotobombs are so funny!

ReplyDeleteYOu two just are so dear to mom and I. xoxox

The humans opened the windows too here! There are so plenty of birdies and squirrels these days!
ReplyDeletePurrs
It's been nice and sunny all right, but when the window gets opened it's all FREEZY! Heh heh--Star ruined your picture, Mom. Good going blocking the Lady with the Flashy Box, or as I like to call her, The Stalkerati.
ReplyDeletesharing is a good thing even if not sharing in the same space at same time; at least no one had a whap at the other when they exchanged views in the door way. paws crossed you keep having this progress
ReplyDeleteLucky kitties getting whiffs of the outside. We've had horizontal rain and gales here and the cats would have been blown to the next town if they'd got out, especially Red as he weighs as much as candy floss!
ReplyDeleteHave a word with your cats and see if they can blow some nice weather our way?
