Cheese Head

It started with cheesey cat food. Then her nose twitched at shaved Parmesan and I offered her a sniff. And nearly lost a finger! From there it went to cheddar. Garlic cheddar. Pizza cheese. Onion cheddar. Colby jack. And now.. I can't even eat a lousy piece of string cheese by myself!

Yes. Star.. is a cheese head.

I guess I should blame myself. I spoil her. But it would be nice to eat something without claws digging into my leg on occasion.

This afternoon I headed off the claws by offering the cheese on the blanket she stole from me.

Oh, cheese! Don't mind if I do!

*chewchew, purr* Oh that's the stuff alright!



Another? Don't mind if I do!
 
 

Don't be stingy with the stringy cheese, keep it coming!

    I have always love Parmesan, but I haven't graduated to any of the other cheeses.

    We love cheese, too! One of us (we won't admit who) has been known to steal a piece of the head peep has a few slices of it sitting on a napkin on her desk and gets too absorbed in her computer to keep a close eye on it...

    Star, the cheese head, definitely is spoiled. Lucky girl. Mom can't set the shaved parmesan on the table without one of us putting our nose and tongue into it. We haven't been offered all the varieties and need to demand some tastes.     Yes, mine like it, too, and it being cheese, they can smell it from anywhere, so as soon as I start slicing the cheddar, they come gathering. It's like I'm dying and surrounded by vultures...
