Throw Back Thursday

Today's ThrowBack Thursday post is from August 17, 2013. I had almost missed Black Cat Appreciation day! Unlike THIS year when I actually DID miss it... So here's a salute to Black Cat Appreciation Day, a day late, but with lots of love!

It should be noted that the two gray cats I'm talking about were Star and Leo. Now I have two gray cats, Leo and Glitter, though Glitter is a tiger under all that fluff. Cashmere is a gray and black tiger, so maybe she counts too! Oh, and Twin 2 now has TWO black kitties, Middy shown today, and Selina Kyle, not shown.

This was titled, of course, Black Cat Appreciation Day!

It almost slipped by us! But we caught wind of it at the last moment! We're very black cat friendly around here. After all, Blue cats, which is what our grey kitties are called, are really dilute black kitties! So you could really say I have two dilute black cats, hee hee!

I did have a real black cat before. Well, more than one, but my sweetie was a black cat named Calvin. I wrote about him some time back. (Find that post here)

Today I want to share pictures of my niece, Twin 2's, black kitty. A pretty little girl named Middy. I haven't met her in person, but I have some pictures Twin 2 shared with me.

I know they're somewhat blurry, but they are cell phone pictures. You can still see what a cutie she is!

I hope you have a great Black Cat Appreciation Day, even if you don't have a black cat at the moment!
