Cousin Kitties

I've mentioned my cousin many times in my blog. She'd been a dog person forever and recently, well, more than a year now, but still recently in her life, became a cat person. I outlined her kitty family in This Post.

I had wanted to post about her kitty family on her birthday, but I missed it.. Her birthday was Saturday. Happy belated birthday cousin!

I was going to show pictures of her kitties, so I'm gonna do that today!

This is Lucky, on the bottom, and Romeo on the top. Lucky was on some pain meds but wouldn't stop licking his tiny stitches so he had to wear that huge bandage to cover them. He was laying on the back of that chair/couch and Romeo couldn't snuggle with him. Or so he thought. Romeo needed to let his buddy know he was there for him and that's the only way he could get up close and personal!
This was about a year ago.. forgot to ask for more recent pictures of the older boys, whoops!

Lucky: Dude, you're laying on me..
Romeo: You need a cuddle.
Lucky: I need a nap..
Romeo: Ok, I need a cuddle.
Lucky: Fine. But no snoring!
Romeo: Want to share your drugs?
Lucky: You wish!
Romeo: Well, it was a thought..

Here's Lucky without bandages or drugs (except nip!) enjoying a kicker!

Lucky: Bwahahaha! I kills you! That means I wins!

Nitro got to visit me when I was in rehab! Such a cute little guy he was!

Nitro: Please to be putting me down now! I has to race around every inch of this room!

He grew up! And really enjoyed the beddy he got from me!

Nitro: I give you kissy eyes.. or am I falling asleep? I'll never tell!

Then came Stumpy! Her second Foster to Family kitty (is that a better term than foster fail?)
I finally got pictures of him!

Stumpy: This my Marilyn Monroe pose.. Me, all in the fur on a pretty blanket! You know I looks good!

A close up of the source of his name. Cousin felt bad for him trying to walk around at the shelter she works at because it's all tile and he would slip and slide everywhere. She brought him home to see how he would do on carpet. She's a sucker sweetie like that! Because she knew and so did everyone else, that once he got in her house, he wasn't going anywhere!

He's got down to the heel, missing the whole foot part of the leg. With no scar showing, it looks like he was probably born this way. And of course he does not know there's anything wrong with him!

Stumpy likes that new bed too!
Stumpy: You can tell that Orange Terror that this is mine now, ok?

And here are the two younger boys enjoying a moment together.

Stumpy: So now do you see why he races around the house so fast?
Nitro: It's my go-go juice! And this is my go-go race car box! Vroom Vroom!
Stumpy: It's my turn soon. Right mom?

A few days late, but I hope you enjoyed getting to know Cousin's Kitties!

Wow! Adorableness overfloweth at your cousin's house! Am a sucker to tabbies too, so I'm all dreamy-eyed too.
