Curl Up, It's Cold!

Can you tell the temperature by your kitties?

You know winter is coming when their thick fur starts growing in. If it's going to be a bad one, their fur is extra heavy.

When it's hot, they sleep all stretched out. When it's cold....

I don't think Star could curl up any tighter if she tried! She looks like a furry little egg!

We've had the coldest, snowiest winter that we've had in a LONG time! Last year we hardly had any snow at all! I liked that better.. And judging by the thickness of their fur and how tight they curl up, it's not getting warm any time soon. sigh

Try to stay warm everyone!

This has been the worst winter for so many of my friends - everybody is sick of this weather. I wish I could export our mild California winters to you.

Imagine if humans could grow a fur coat in cold weather. ;)

It is not so cold here, but the statisticians say we have had the wettest January in 249 years, so that means I curl up tight too.

We hope the snow starts to thaw and Star can uncurl soon!

When it’s cold I sleep nights curled up in my wooly cat bed in Pop’s room since it’s warmer than TW’s. In the summer, I sleep stretched out on TW’s bed.

Spitty sent me some of those new WW toys! I’ve blogged about it for tomorrow. TW hasn’t given me the vine ones yet.

We think the groundhog is lying.
With this much snow and cold, it's not going to be spring until JULY!

After our 20 inch snow on Thursday, we are so over winter. Though, it sure isn't done with us. And we are not sure this stuff will melt before spring, which is still 31 days away! Stay warm all. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
