Leo's Cabinet Post, part 2

We left off yesterday with Leo checking out the top of the cabinet that he can reach from the new cat tree post. He seemed to be enjoying it.

Hey! I can reach the scratchy part from here! Gotta keep the ol' claws sharp!

Whoa! You filming me? Lasers on full!

And then he hopped back onto the top shelf..
This is what I think of you spying on my explorations.

I don't know if I'm allowed up there or not, but you will never catch me up there again!

Oh argh, did I just confess that I HAD been up there? Am I in trouble now?

No, Leo, you're not in trouble. I wanted you to go up there!

In that case, the reason I'm not going back up there because of the dust..

Dust on my paws, dust in my whiskers, dust on my belly, dust dust dust dust!

Seriously lady, I'm not going back until you run a Swiffer up there..

I guess I've been told. He washed up for ten minutes! I'm too short to see dust up there, what do I know about the conditions?? And since he hasn't been back, I guess we'll have to do something about it. I also think I'm going to get a kitty bed and put it up there, that might give him the idea that it's his spot. Think that'll work?

We would go back, dust or not. If you put a bed up there, make sure it's got something nonskid on the bottom so he doesn't accidentally tip it over the edge. It's a long way down.

After years of having my " treasures" on top of the entertainment center if took them down and put a cushion up there. Now out of our 4 feline family members, one sleeps up there regularly. She seems to like the fact that none of the boys can sneak up on her and she can see 75% of the downstairs. As for dust? I figure if I can't see it, it's no big deal...plus didn't Leo just dust up there for you?

a bed might be a good incentive. :)

We don't have anything quite that high here. Waffles the daredevil sure wishes we did though!

PS… thank you SO much for your well-wishes for Glogirly. She’s feeling better already and hopes that her new-monia, will be old-monia soon!

Wow, that looks like a pretty cool cat tree. I think the high rise cat bed would be an excellent addition to the cabinet!

P.S. We wanted to thank you for your kind thoughts when PQ went to the Bridge. It's getting a little easier for us each day.

You are a brave Mancat, Leo! It must be fun to have such a tall cat tree!

AHA! I was gonna ax about the dust yesterday but TW was too polite. We have the same problem since TW can't reach the top of anything. Hey Leo, I hope you yakked up all the dust.

When we want them to do something, they do the opposite.

Star, Do you think you could convince your Mommy to put a nice soft Leo beddy up there and then (wait for it--this is the good part!) move the cat tower far away from there?!?!? We wouldn't want him to STARVE or anything--you could toss him some kibble once in awhile.

Think it will work? Drop over later and we'll discuss the details, okay? XOXOXOX

We think a quick dust off and a kitty bed are the purrfect idea. We now that's where we would want to hang out. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
