Scratchity Scratch Star

I keep thinking I've posted these pictures, but I don't think I have.. So they've been around for a little while, but they're still so cute!

This is Star going crazy attacking the back of her favorite chair. She's got her claws out some, but mostly she's just going really fast dig dig digity digging at the fabric without tearing into it. She gets really wild when she does this and goes all wide eyed crazy!

Sometimes ya just gotta scratch something!

Ok, double time! Scratchity scratchity scratch scratch scratch!

Oh hi. I don't want to give away any of my trade secrets, but you can go lots faster claws in.. I use a combination of claws in and claws out. Um.. Can someone get my claw out of here? I think I clawed out when I should have clawed in..

That last photo is priceless. Star doesn't look like she appreciates the audience very much.

Hmmmm...we've never tried the claws in method. Maybe we should give it a try!

Allie does the claws in method a lot....especially early in the morning! It makes a different noise and we think she likes that.

Yes, a couple of mine have trouble with claws getting stuck once in a while, too...

my theo loves to have claws out when he's scratching my stomach. the bloodcurling yelps don't seem to deter him much.

Tucker used to do that when he was a youngster, accompanied by a high-pitched yowl (to play).

Star, the first two photos are adorable, but we love the look on your face in the final one. It's one of those faces that says, "Who me?" Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Darling Star, You know, I sued to be SUCH a good boy--I never clawed the furniture at all--I used my scratching post and my Ess and my cardboard scratcher and it was all good. I was happy, the Human was happy, my claws were nice an sharp. Life was purrfect.

But then, about a month ago, the Human heard a very suspicious sound from the living room when she was sitting at her desk in the dining room. And she caught me red-clawded! In flagranto delicto or whatever. Now, I just can't help myself! The wonderful feel of the nice fabric under my nails! The intoxicating chair-smell!

My Name is Spitty, and I am a claw-o-holic.
