Toy Pile

Well, Spitty called it. In his comment on yesterdays post he said:
Darling, I can't IMAGINE what you have to put up with from that Bad Boy
with his tail in your face, your Beautiful FACE! I think you have shown great
restraint, my darling. I know you are just saving up all your FURY for one
giant SMACKDOWN when he least expects it! XOXOXOXO

We had a full blown smack-fest. I guess the truce is over. I hope they go back to tolerating each other again soon. Or at the very least, ignoring each other! Still, it could have been worse I suppose. At least we do have a few days of peace between bouts of tempers now. Progress in any form, right?

The other day we piled all the toys into the catbed again. I wanted to see how long it would take Leo to get them all out. Apparently not long as these pictures were taking about twenty minutes later.

Oh hey, who piled up the toys?

All the good stuff is on the bottom!

Well, I know how to get it! Digity dig dig dig!

Hope you have peace in your house today!

What a great toy pile! We have toy baskets in two rooms, but the toys rarely stay in the basket for long. Toys can't be played with in a basket or a pile, can they?

That's what I should do: pile the cats' toys. They are all over the place and they play with only a couple. Maybe digging for the ones they want will help them notice the others. Hmm...

mom sometimes puts all our toys back in the basket but it never lasts long...

Get a load of all those toys! Which one are you going to play with first, Leo?

We have our paws crossed for another long spell of peace!

My Human has taken to piling a nice selection of toys into a bowl on the dining room table. *I* am a gentlemanCat so it takes me about four or five days to empty the bowl, one toy at a time, and scatter them all over the house at which time she may pick them up again for me and put them back in the bowl. It's a good arrangement, since she does most of the work.

Also, Star Darling? FTW!!! Smackity-smack-smack.

Me thinks the Smackity Smack is necessary! It keeps those young monsters in line!
Me does not plays with toys much any more, but Kozmo plays with everything!

Seems we have a smack down and a big brawl every day with Calista and Mauricio. She seems to be the instigator. At least she doesn't pick on anyone smaller than she is. And what good are toys in a pile. Are they supposed to play with each other? Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
