Bunny Watch 2013

Did you wonder what Leo was watching and grinning at yesterday? (Did you notice the grin?)

No, it wasn't Star. It was a wild bunny nibbling up the dandelion greens growing in the driveway!

Star was oblivious.. She did notice Leo looking in 'her' direction, but basically ignored him, and the view.
Star: What are you looking at, barbarian?

Leo paid her little attention. Except for the fact that if she hadn't been right there by the door, he'd have been IN the door watching that bunny!
Leo: Fried rabbit. Rabbit stew. Rabbit fricassee. Roast rabbit. Hasenpfeffer. BarBQ rabbit. Beer batter deep fried rabbit... *drool*

Bunny: Do I hear drooling?

He couldn't take it, he had to brave getting into the door, closer to the treat, I mean, the bunny.
Leo: No, no drooling! It was... the faucet dripping, yeah that's it, just a drippy ol' faucet!

Bunny: Oh, if you're sure..  Mmmm The dandelions look more sumptuous over this way.. *munchmunch*

Star remained oblivious.
Star: Hmm? I don't want to wake up.. Keep your distance, barbarian...zzzzzz
Leo: Don't go too far, bunny! I want you to join me for dinner!

Leo: How do you feel about.. BarBQ Mr. Bunny?
Bunny: I prefer my dandelion leaves raw, thank you.

I'm still having trouble leaving comments over on Daily Dose. I sure hope you're visiting over there every day to see the kitties! It's so very serious that we work together to find homes for these sweethearts. The cathouse is full, that means no other kitties can be rescued, no matter how desperate their situation!
Can you please check out the kitties on the sidebar over there and try to think of who you know that could be their forever family? Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated!
Remember every time you find a kitty a home, you save two kitties! The one who was adopted and the one who now has room to be rescued!

We've never seen a bunny, so we're jealous! Our human thinks we might have strokes if we did. LOL.

A rabbit! That's even better than squirrels. What a great channel on your cat TV.

The Human will interrupt my comment today to tell a (kinda) funny story that happened in her Honors American Lit class a few months ago: One day, the Human had to explain the word "talisman." So she gave a few examples, including "rabbit's foot." As she said it, she noticed a horror-stricken look on one girl's face (this girl immigrated to the U.S. from Ukraine when she was about 10, AND is a fanatical animal lover.) "What are you talking about?" she gasped. The Human was kinda stuck. "Well, uh, you see, a long time ago, um, etc. etc." Poor kid had never heard of such a thing! The other kids kinda laughed at her reaction, but the Human tried to reassure her they aren't really sold anymore--but she was kinda lying 'cause she doesn't really know that.

Buuny TV…lucky, lucky you. Mom and Dad see some of those when they ride the tandem, but we don't have any in our yard. We'll trade you a skunk for that bunny. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
