Purple Mouse

I don't know why, but all the sudden one day we saw the purple mouse in the water dish! Greg took it out and left it near the bowls.

We wondered who had done it. Star usually prefers little black mice that don't rattle. Purple mouse rattles. Leo likes feathers, but we have occasionally seen him play with mice. Then as soon as the wet mouse was set aside to dry, Leo was on it!

Hey, mousie, you're all wet. Let me knock you around to help dry you!

That piece of junk mail is what I'd just been giving him some nip on.

Even your rattle sounds soggy, dude!

Scoop you up, toss you around!

Oh hi. I was just playin'! Can you blow dry mousie? No, wait. I hate the blow dryer!

I'll just keep scootin' him around!

And giving him the bitey!

That'll work. Right?

All I know is that purple dye better not run and get on my still kinda new carpet!

Well, the dryer tosses clothes around to dry them, right? So technically, your tossing Purple Mousie around should dry him out too!

If the mousey is on the carpet perhaps you could use it as a towel to dry your mousie Leo.

the purple mouse was in the water because it was given as a THANK YOU to whomever in the household GIVES the food and water :)

Our mice sometimes go for a swim, too. We don't understand why the peeps are all "ewww, it's wet!" afterward. As Leo proved, we are perfectly capable of drying them when we are ready.

Let's hope mousie doesn't make Leo's mouth and paws all purple too!

we have never had the wet deaded mousies leave the color around.... but a certain Tim-cat likes to drown them and leave them in the water dish. mom says at least he doesn't leave them in the middle of the floor for her to walk on

Good thing it was a wet purple mouse and not a real one.

Leo, it's nice to see that you like to give purple mousie a nice dunking before you play with it. We some times dunk toys in the dog water dish over here.Keeps things interesting!

We think purple mouse just wanted a little bath before playing again.

Well, we think we know which cat put the mousie in the water dish! Leo is having lots of fun with it!

The Human says that some of her other kitties that came before used to put their mousies in their water for a baff, but I nefur do that. I like to keep my toys dry. I don't pee on stuff either, or knock stuff over. The Human says I am a real Good Boy but still kind of high maintenance. If I was a LadyCat she'd call me a Diva. Is there a word like that for ManCats, I wonder?

Smoochies, Star.

Toss mousie in the dryer for a few minutes or maybe hang him up by his tail to dry? hehe

It looks like Leo's having a good time! :)
