Door Sharing

Maybe it doesn't seem like that big of a deal to you readers when I share pictures of Leo and Star sharing space. But it's a huge deal to me. They do NOT share space. So when they do, I get all excited and snap pictures and share it. So it must seem as if it happens a lot. I wish it did..

But when the peacefully share space, I can't NOT share, so here's what happened just the other day.

It was nice enough out that we had the door open. Just the door, not the windows. So there was only one place to look out. Usually that means one at a time will get door whiffies. But something good was out there.. good enough that they didn't mind or notice each other as they intently watched whatever it was!

The sun was pretty bright, so the kitties being on the inside showed up dark.. I lightened as much as I could without making them look washed out.

Not long after these pictures I heard a bird take off, sounded like big wings flapping. I wish I had seen it... no idea what it was. But it sure had Star and Leo's attention!

Me and my brother usually don't share. Don't share beans, don't share blanket, anyway we wrestle a lot.
Only share heater at very cold winter.

So, I think you 2 are great~~

It must have been something really interesting, judging from how Leo's head movements while Star remained so...composed. :)

I love to see the two of you together and Star, I wish you were a little less bossy, darling. (Who only knows what *I* would be like if I had a fur sib!)

Out of my four darlings, only the twins share space without attitude. So when all four gather together of their own free will it causes my heart to sing. My most vocal loner was rescued as an adult, while the others were rescued as kittens. They all had difficult starts, but Mistletoe's was particularly cruel. That's caused her to be very vocal about her feelings on sharing with the boys. So now, after 10 years, she has started coming out to for play time! She doesn't take her turn in the center of the room, but darts out from behind a chair to "kill" da bird. I'm so excited, but I can't seem to get it on camara! I need to operate da bird and adding another human hasn't worked out. So I've used your comments to share my joy and excitement. It's just so wonderful see those you love share their joy. Happiness really is multiplied by those you share it with!

we know how that goes - mom gets all excited when she sees Ivy sitting by the sliding door near Spur or Junior....it takes the distraction of the outdoors to make her forget that the "boys" are that close..... :)

If there is something interesting going on outside, sometimes it is hard to share space with Binga because she goes nuts!

That is so much fun when they sit close together. We like it here too when the cats get along with each other. Love the pictures. Take care.

It's great to see them sharing. We share the doorway when it's open because we like to smell the outdoors and it smells best there!

Oh I don't share, so we understand why you feel excited when Star and Leo share a space.

We like sharing the door. It seems like there's a lot more space there than the windows. We wonder what that birdie was!
