LOL! That's the purrfect toy...The mom never thought of going to a fabric store for a boa. Duh. Another good "toy" is a curled up pipe cleaner...you get get a whole bag of them at a dollar store. Derry loves them (his "snakes").
I haven't tried pipecleaners! But I love that some of the best toys are inexpensive and not sold at pet stores. lol I mean, we have our share of regular cat toys, don't get me wrong. But sometimes it seems that the more expensive a toy is, the less likely it is that they will actually like it! Leo's such a feather nut, he tears apart the boa ends of cat toys, so I thought, why not just get the boa part and skip the stick! I haven't given it to him yet, but I got a whole roll of bright green boa in the clearance rack for $1.74! I should give him the whole roll and see what he does... lol
